Abstract

Follow-on to: DISPOSITION-11814 Genetically engineering an industrial filamentous fungus Aspergillus niger for 3-hydroxypropionic acid production being handled by Alex Kendall and Allan Tuan. We talked briefly about some of the potential IP around process development a few months ago. Production conditions for 3-hydroxypropionic acid production using engineered strains of Aspergillus niger have been defined in terms of media composition, temperature, aeration, pH, and feedstock.
