Biography
Ryan Renslow’s research focuses on the identification of novel metabolites in complex samples, the relationship between microbial community structure and function, and the emergence of higher order properties in multispecies communities. To achieve this, he uses a suite of computational and mathematical tools, as well as advanced imaging techniques. Applications of his work have intersected human health, energy production, ecology, national defense, machine vision, and biotechnology research areas.
