Biography
Stephanie Johansen is the Radiological Materials group leader in the Nuclear Science Divisions at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, She previously served as a technical advisor and a team lead for the Predictive Simulation - Sapphire teamĀ in the Environmental Subsurface Science group. She has more than 15 years of experience leading teams, primarily solving complex environmental challenges for the Department of Energy and Department of Defense in nuclear waste cleanup and chemical weapons demilitarization.
Johansen is the regulatory lead for the Hanford Supplemental Low Activity Waste Federally Funded Research and Development Center Panel. She also manages National Environmental Policy Act projects for the Bonneville Power Administration, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and National Nuclear Security Administration.
