Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Electricity Infrastructure and Buildings Division is accelerating the transition to a decarbonized, efficient, resilient, and secure energy system through basic and applied research.
We are a division of 450 electrical and power system engineers, mechanical and architectural engineers, data and computer scientists, economists, policy analysts, and other specialists – all with a common passion for innovation, collaborative problem solving, and making a difference in the world.
We leverage our strong technical foundation in power and energy systems and advanced data analytics to drive innovation, transform markets, and inform energy policy. Our strength is in our people, specialized facilities and computational resources, and partnerships with industry and other leading research institutions.
